How To Organize Your Purse

I’ve tried a few things to keep my purse more organized, but they never seemed to work. The fabric purse organizers always crumpled up, and the elastic grid-it organizer I tried was awesome, but too big to fit in my bag.

Here’s my solution:

I try to have as few items “floating” in my purse as possible. My purse doesn’t have a ton of pockets, and I HATE digging for stuff!

First, I decided what I use most often — phone, wallet, and sunglasses. Those items get “floating rights.” (By the way, I ADORE my white phone case – it makes it SO easy to see when I need to grab it!)

I hooked my keys onto a caribiner that clips to my purse strap. No more digging!

Everything else (chapstick, nail files, gum, hand sanitizer, etc.) is tucked into a small bag. (This one was a gift with purchase from Clinique.)

Now I can see all of my important stuff & I can just grab the little bag when I need the small things. So simple!!

P.S. — If you love my bag as much as I do, you can find it in a fabulous little boutique called Eco Chic!

Finally! I find an easy solution for all those things that float around the bottom of my purse! Thank you!!

I do this also. I have one for beauty supplies, one for office supplies (pens, pencils, charger, etc). I drink a lot of drink mixes in the single packs, so I also have a pouch for them too.

Oh I love this storage idea for my purse! I’m constantly digging & searching for things. I’ve tried so many ideas & nothing has worked. Love this!

I use the white phone case idea as well. I have a black iPhone and it was constantly getting lost in my purse so I bought a white speck case with the purple trim and now I never lose it.

BTW, cute purse! (I’m a purse junkie) :)

Thanks so much! I didn’t even realize how much my white case helped until I switched to a darker color for a few weeks. I could never find my phone! I switched back to a white case as soon as I could — it makes such a huge difference!
