Here’s a little more info on one of my favorite tips:

I like to save space on my clothesline by hanging as many items on hangers as possible. I can fit 2-3 times as many items in the same amount of space!

Alas, there is a dark side to the hanger tip. Windy days tend to blow the hangers off the line and right into piles of dirt. Not cool, Wind. Not. Cool.

I debated lots of crazy solutions, but in the end, this simple little hack has been a lifesaver:

Mini binder clips to the rescue! I have seen these babies stay put on some blustery days — the hanger will spin all the way around the line, but it won’t fall off!

If you have tank tops or anything that could slip off the arms of the hanger, a little clothespin action will hold it together. Easy peazy!
